Qualifications / Education:

  • Level 4 Welding Certificate (Completed February 2024)
  • Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Certificate
  • NCEA Level 2
  • NCEA Level 1

 

Experience:

  • Labourer: (Date Range: Specific months)
    • Stacked heavy timber, wrapped, and made wooden pallets.
  • Fabrication and Welding Projects: (Duration of course)
    • Completed projects including a toolbox, pizza oven, brazier/fire pit, pin punches, 90° angle vise, and tool makers clamp.
    • Gained experience in using tools, machines, reading engineering drawings, and fabricating/welding steels.

 

Skills:

  • Proficient in welding (MMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW)
  • Experience using press brake, guillotine, manual lathe, and milling machine
  • Skilled in reading drawings, welding procedures, and plans
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment care
  • Experience with gantry crane, gas, plasma, and creeper cutters
  • Forklift operation
  • Strong physical fitness and reliability
  • Fast learner and effective communicator
  • Honest and good listener

 

Objective:
I want to become a fully qualified tradesperson and learn from experienced workers. After completing my apprenticeship maybe move to Australia or start my own business.
