I’ve built strong communication skills through my work at Redwoods Treewalk and gained confidence managing tasks in fast‑paced environments. I’m keen to keep developing my practical skills and take on opportunities where I can learn and contribute to a team.
Experience
Through a Gateway placement, I gained exposure to residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work. Across all roles, I’ve developed strong reliability, teamwork, and confidence working with the public. I currently work as a Treewalk Ranger, carrying out safety checks, briefing guests, and supporting tours in both the treewalk and glowworm cave environment. This role has strengthened my communication skills and understanding of health and safety. I’ve also worked as a shift manager in a busy fast‑food setting, handling customer service, cooking, cash handling, and delegating tasks.
