Profile Summary

I’m a motivated and safety‑focused Mechanical Engineering Apprentice with extensive hands‑on experience across industrial, manufacturing, and shutdown environments. I’ve completed the first year of my apprenticeship and have consistently been trusted with advanced apprentice‑level tasks due to my reliability, initiative, and strong technical ability. Unfortunately, due to the company closing down, I’ve had to pause my studies and seek a new place to host my apprenticeship. I bring proven experience in fitting, maintenance, valve work, shutdown operations, and workshop tasks. I’m adaptable, physically fit, and committed to continuing my apprenticeship through to full qualification.

Experience

I completed the first year of my Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship working across plant maintenance, fault diagnosis, fitting, repairs, and general servicing. I contributed actively to Health & Safety committees and was regularly trusted with tasks normally assigned to senior apprentices. I’ve also worked as a Trades Assistant for multiple shutdown contractors, supporting valve overhauls, isolations, turbine cover removal, machining, lapping, and equipment maintenance across major industrial sites. Currently, I’m working full‑time as a Chiller Hand and Tannery Worker while seeking an apprenticeship continuation opportunity.
