Objective:
I am a hardworking, honest and dependable person. I am quick to pick up new skills and am always keen to broaden my knowledge. I am a passionate sailor and I love volunteering my time at the Yacht Club through Coaching, Umpiring, Race management, and working on the committees. I have previously worked in an engineering field, and I’m looking to get back into the industry, work towards a qualification and build my career.

Experience:
I worked in a Foundry in Bell Block, New Plymouth, for around 18 months, as a process worker, then fitter-machinist apprentice. Unfortunately, in October of 2024 the business was forced to shut down, and I am looking to get back into the Industry. Since October, I have been employed as a farm worker for Tegel Foods LTD, on a broiler farm in Egmont Village. While I have enjoyed my time there, I’m looking for a more fulfilling role where I can push myself harder, learn new things, and gain a qualification.

Skills:
I am hardworking and honest, can work independently, and have good organisational skills. I love solving problems, working through issues and finding a fix/solution. I am a team player, can communicate clearly and respectfully, and can take on feedback and criticism positively.

I am good at working with my hands and tools. I have previous experience with CNC Lathes and Mills, drill presses, and other manufacturing machinery. I have driven a forklift and have my full driver’s license.
