Objective:
I am a hardworking and hands-on individual with a strong willingness to learn new skills. I have initiative and after some training and demonstration can easily work on my own. I have recently finished the New Zealand Certificate of Mechanical Engineering Level 3 course and through this, have found that I have a passion for the industry. My experience so far in the course has helped me to gain experience in welding, fabrication, general maintenance and operating a range of tools in a safe way. I am now looking for a supportive employer who will see my potential and give me an opportunity to use what I have learnt and start a rewarding career.

Welding and fabrication – MIG and TIG welding and Plasma cutting
Safely operating and maintaining lathes and milling machines
Using micrometers and vernier calipers
Workplace Health and safety
Knowledge of metals and materials used in engineering
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans

Young, fit and healthy
Excellent time management
