Objective:
Highly motivated and enthusiastic Pre-trade graduate seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship.
With a strong focus on General engineering and Maintenance, my aim is to utilize and build-up on the basic knowledge and experience in fabrication and machining gained as a student, and contribute to the practical application of engineering principles whilst attaining full qualification and competency in the trades.
Experience:
Pick-Packer
-Accurately pick and pack according to the order
– Keeping track of inventory levels, and reporting low stock levels or potential shortages to supervisors
-Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety standards
-Use of RF inventory scanner
Sampling specialist
-Collecting and preparing raw material and finished product samples for testing
-Maintained working environment at the required hygiene level as per company procedures
-Managed documentation, registration, packaging, order/receiving, and dispatch of samples
-Basic data entry on asset management system (SAP)
Foam plant operator
-Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of several foam-cutting CNC machine (BZM-A vertical cutting machine, CNC contour cutter, BSL-200 Horizontal cutter)
-Use of asset management application (SAP) for creating/confirming production order, stock management, post-processing error investigation
Qualifications:
Level 3 Pre-trade Mechanical Engineering
BSc Chemistry
NCEA Level 3
Full Drivers license (Class 1)
